This year marks the 74th anniversary of Operation Overlord, the Allied invasion of Normandy on June 6, 1944 -- most commonly known as D-Day. The largest amphibious attack in history, D-Day is considered the beginning of the end of WWII in Europe. Overall, 20 USEUCOM and CONUS units will participate in approx 45 events/ceremonies from 29 May - 8 Jun 18 in 36 locations throughout the Normandy region of France as part of Joint Task Force (JTF) Normandy 74.
